Physical DescriptionPainting on a concave board of Cartagena town plaza with 2-D fortress wall. Painted in the sky above the fortress wall on the left is the Coat of Arms of Colombia, at center a scroll with John F. Kennedy's visitation date "Diciembre 17 de 1961", and at left a 3/4 portrait of JFK facing left with a US flag and shield for the Food for Peace program.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President betwen 1961-1963 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
