Physical DescriptionReplica of the mountain lion sculpture known as "the lion shrine" at Penn State University. The base has small metal plate engraved "President John F. Kennedy from Penn State Football Squad 1962."
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President betwen 1961-1963 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
