Physical DescriptionLateen rigged sailboat, with two masts, two oars, rudder, anchor and bailing bucket. The sailboat is mounted on a black lacquered, wood base with a silver inscription plate: "To Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy/ In Memory of Her Beloved Husband/ The Catholic Institute/ Malta 27-12-63".

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift from Catholic Institution of Malta to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President after the death of President Kennedy in 1963, it was transferred to General Service Office and held until donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
