Physical DescriptionLateen rigged sailboat, with two masts, two oars, rudder, and anchor. The sailboat is mounted on a black lacquered, wood base with a silver inscription plate: "To John/ In Loving Memory of His Father/ John F. Kennedy/ President of the United States of America/ From the Children of Malta and Gozo/ Dec. 1963".
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift from a foreign official to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy received after the death of President Kennedy in 1963, it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
