Historical NoteFirst Lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this dress for a photographic sitting in John F. Kennedy's Senate office in Washington, DC in 1959 with photographer Mark Shaw.
This ensemble was also worn by Mrs. Kennedy as she joined President Kennedy and Vice President Johnson in watching Astronaut Alan Shepard's historic space launch on television in the West Wing of the White House, on May 5, 1961.
