Physical DescriptionA bright pink silk and wool coat with "Nehru" collar and slit pockets at hips. This coat has a plain front with hidden buttons.
Historical NoteFirst Lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this pink coat during her arrival in New Delhi, India on March 12, 1962 during her state visit.

Custodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
