The Helicopter model is made of an olive drab colored plastic with white detailing. It has a wood base with presentation plaque inscribed "Presented By The Officers and Men US Army Executive Flight Detachment".
Historical NoteIn 1962 President John F. Kennedy requested the creation of a distinctive paint scheme for the VIP transports, the result being the familiar green and white colors with "United States of America" emblazoned on the side. Both the Army (Army One) and Marine Corps (Marine One) flew the President of the United States and other dignitaries until 1973, when the Marine Corps took full responsibilities.
