Physical DescriptionGold 3rd century B.C. Egyptian bracelet composed of a double-headed serpent, hammered and incised.
Historical NoteThis ancient Egyptian bracelet was a gift to Jacqueline Kennedy by her husband, John F. Kennedy on the occasion of their 10th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Kennedy recalled that, on the occasion of their tenth wedding anniversary, her husband had offered her a selection of gifts from which to choose.
This bracelet was purchased by President Kennedy from the antique dealer J. J. Klejman, September 1963.

Custodial History NoteThis bracelet was owned by Jacqueline Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation by the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1995. The John F. Kennendy Foundation Inc. donated it to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 2009.
