Physical DescriptionRoman Imperial head of a young boy carved in cream colored marble, mounted on a purple porphyry base. Mrs. Kennedy described this as the "head of a young satyr."
Historical NoteThis sculpture was a gift from President Kennedy to his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy, the President purchased the statue during his visit to Rome in 1963.

Custodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
