Physical DescriptionRound brass dish with interior surface finished in the metal-working technique of cloisonné. The interior is decorated with raised figures in black with silver background. Central figure is a rearing horse next to a man holding a drum. They are surrounded by birds and fantastical foliage and flowers sprouting from the same vine.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift to the President and Mrs. Kennedy from the Lord of Chakrala and the Lidhal Tribe. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 1995 by the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
