Historical NoteFirst lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this evening gown to a foreign Ministry reception in Mexico City, Mexico on June 29, 1962. She also wore it to a dinner hosted by Ambassador Howard Beale at the Breakers mansion in Newport, Rhode Island on September 14, 1962.
