Physical DescriptionBlack hat stitched and blocked into a pillbox shape with tan leather sweat band. This hat has a red silk lining with blue stitching. Two plastic combs are attached with elastic to the sides of the hat.
Historical NoteThis hat was presented to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy by Pakistani President Mohammed Ayub Khan in Lahore, Pakistan, March 22, 1962.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from President Muhammad Ayub Khan, President of Pakistan. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
