Physical DescriptionAn evening gown in ivory double-faced silk satin twill with a cockade trim. The gown has 3/4 length sleeves, a full A-lined skirt, and a decorative bow off center at the waist.
Historical NoteThis gown was worn by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy to the Inaugural Gala at the National Guard Armory in Washington D.C. on January 19, 1961

Custodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
