Physical DescriptionWhite ceramic mug with handle trimmed in gold leaf. "John F. Kennedy" is inscribed across front in gold lettering. Mug is encased in a glass and wood presentation case. Brass plaque across front of case is engraved: 'Shaving mug used by Senator John Fitzgerald Kennedy in Senators' private Barbershop January 3, 1953 to December 22, 1960.'

Custodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
