Historical NoteThis jacket was worn by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy when riding with Presiden't Guard in New Delhi, India on March 14, 1962. She also wore it while riding Sardar with President of Pakistan Mahammed Ayub Khan at her home in Virginia on September 6, 1962.

Custodial History NoteItem was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 2021 by Ambassador Caroline Kennedy. This jacket was part of First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy's personal collection.
