Historical NoteThis commemorative key to the city was presented to Senator John F. Kennedy by the mayor of Miami, Robert King High, on October 18, 1960 during JFK's campaign stop for the United States presidential election.
Additional DetailsCustodial History Noteitem was presented to Senator John F. Kennedy in 1960, it was retained by David Powers, special assistant to the President and received by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 1985.
