Physical DescriptionDedicatory remarks for the John F. Kennedy Memorial at Runnymede on May 14, 1965. Bound program has a polished red calf covers with double gilt-fillet border, front cover gilt with Presidential seal, front cover lower left embossed in gilt with initials RFK and JPK. The cover page is inscribed by Jacqueline Kennedy: "For Grandpa and Grandma, we thought of you at Runnymede-with love, Jackie."
Historical NoteIn memory of John F. Kennedy, Great Britain gave to the United States an acre of English ground at Runnymede, where the Magna Carta had been signed in 1215. This volume contains the addresses of the principal speakers at the dedication of the memorial: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Harold Macmillan, Harold Wilson and Dean Rusk.

Custodial History NoteItem was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by Mrs. Joseph P. Kennedy in 1977. Mrs. Joseph P. Kennedy received the item as a gift from Jacqueline Kennedy in 1965.
