Physical Descriptionelectroplated Key to city of Paterson, NJ with William H. Dillistin, Mayor embossed along shaft on obverse and Paterson N.J. Sept. 15, 1960 embossed on reverse. At the end of the key is a large "P" with "Honorable John F. Kennedy" above it.
Historical NoteSenator John F. Kennedy was presented this key to the city at City Hall in Paterson, New Jersey on September 15, 1960 during a 1960 presidential campaign stop.

Custodial History NoteThis item was presented to Senator John F. Kennedy in 1960 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
