Historical NoteThis commerative key to the city was presented to Senator John F. Kennedy by the mayor of Long Beach, Calfornia, Pat O’ Hearn on November 1, 1960 at the Douglas Aircraft Company Plant in Long Beach while JFkK was on a campaign stop for the Presidential election.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was presented to Senator John F. Kennedy in 1960 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
