Historical NoteThis Torah cover was made for 200 year old Torah scroll of religious laws that was presented to President Kennedy by Rabbi Maurice N. Eisendrath at the White House on November 13, 1961. The cover is not orginal to the Torah; it was designed and woven Hortense Amram as a presentation cover.
