Custodial History NoteArtifact was received through the White House Gift Unit in 1961, custody was transferred to the government through the Deed of Gift of the Estate of President John F. Kennedy on 2/15/1965. It was given to the Kennedy's by Mary Lasker who was a personal friend and art dealer.
