Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the artist to President John F. Kennedy during his term in office. It was received by the Executive Office of the President and transferred to the General Service Office in 1963 until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
