Worcester Royal Porcelain Company Limited
founded 1751
The Worcester Royal Porcelain co. was founded by Dr. John Wall in 1751, receiving its first Royal Warrant in 1788. The earliest figure-models were made in about 1770. Notable aong those treasured figurines are the "Turk" and the "Gardener". From contemporary accounts of their manufacture it is clear that the same intricate hand processes of the XVIII Century are still used in production of the latest tropical fish models.
