Hot-Z

American, est. 1864
Just after the Civil War, with its home in St. Louis, Missouri, the name “Hotze” meant saddles. No other tannery in the newly reunited states offered the quality of leather, tooling and sewing of a Hotze saddle. They were built to last forever. As quickly as the automobile reduced the need for saddles, the Hotze family applied their knowledge of leather and craftsmanship in a new direction, becoming one of America’s first families of golf bags.
Relocating in 1957 to its current facility in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Hotze continued its history of quality and innovation including the first bag company to use injection-molded plastic for a stronger bag base; as well as, the first to incorporate a dual strap system on a carry bag.

With the acquisition of the HotZ brand, American Brand Golf has committed itself to maintaining the standards of integrity set forth by the Henry Hotze family over 130 years ago. While materials, styling and feature demands have changed over time, the HotZ tradition continues. Products assembled by our skilled work force can be seen at discriminating retailer’s nation-wide.
