Fred Freeman, who designed and drew the 120 illustrations for First Men to the Moon is one of the county's best-known technical artists. A member of the original space symposium which included Wernher von Braun. Mr. Freeman's work has appeared in This Week, Collier's, The Saturday Evening Post, and other magazines and books.
