Ferman Martin (1899-1977) was a political cartoonist, joining the Houston Chronicle in 1937. Subjects of his cartoons include World War II, the Cold War, state and local issues, and more. In 1962 he drew a series of cartoons that pertained to the Presidency of John F. Kennedy.
