Physical DescriptionFemale doll with plastic body wearing a ceremonial costume for ritual dance. White cotton trousers belted with an embroidered shirt. Headdress shaped like a diadem made of gold braid, beads, and feathers. This doll is called Dancer of the Offering.
Historical NoteThis doll was presented to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy by the First Lady of Mexico, Eva Samano de Lopez Mateos with a group of 17 other dolls representing different costumes from other areas in Mexico.
