Physical DescriptionCardstock with fabric samples from President Kennedy and Mrs. Kennedy's bedrooms of the White House for the Parish - Hadley re-decoration project of the White House residence rooms. Two sided.
Side a: Typed at the top of the page is a description of The President's Bedroom, stapled to the cardstock is a sample of the blue and white toile curtains and bed canopy fabric, the white dacron undercurtain, a light blue textured fabric for two chairs and an ottoman, and the cream Milton and Rothchild fabric for the wing chair, and a rug sample.
Side b: Typed at the top of the page is a description of Mrs. Kennedy's Bedroom, stapled to the cardstock is a sample of the sea-green canvas for curtains and headboard, ice blue silk for the bed canopy fabric, the striped silk brocade for the bench, an off white quilted fabric for small sofa, and cut velvet for chair, and a rug sample.

Historical NoteDescription of President Kennedy's Bedroom:
The room was painted off white with carpet to match. Two pairs of blue and white Toile draperies with swag valances and jabots trimmed with white fringe and whte dracon under curtains.
A large mahogany four poster be draped in the same toile with a canopy lined in white linen. The bed had 3 toile pillows.
Two armchairs and an ottoman slipcovered in off white textured fabric.
Description of Mrs. Kennedy's Bedroom:
Walls off-white with wool rugs to match. Draperies of printed sea-green canvast with festoon valances and jabots trimmed with off-white tassel fringe with white dracon under curtains.
Large bed from Mrs. Kennedy's Georgetown home had a headboard slipcovered in the same fabric as the curtains and sunburst canopy of ice-blue silk. Window seat pad of canvas with a long bench at the foot of the bed covered in striped silk brocade. Small sofa slipcovered in off white quilted fabric with a chair covered in cut velvet.
