Physical Description"Little General Fitz", carrying a standard, "For a Bigger, Better, Busier Boston and New England" and saying "Wake up and follow the flage to battle!" leads a worried-looking Puritan, "New England Enthusiasm" in the direction of a sign, "To The Hub Port Development Recruiting Headquarters". The Puritan is carrying a toy ship, "Merchant Marine Decay", and a toy train engine, "N.E. Freight Problem", and says "My word, General, you are so perpetually full of youthful optimism in War!"
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy. It was held by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Archives until it was transferred to the Museum Collection in 2024.
