Physical DescriptionWatercolor rendering of a canopy bed with a white and blue toile coverlet for the Queen's Room. The design was submitted before the actual fabric was selected, which was a rose and off-white silk taffeta. Rendering is inscribed "The White House, Queen's Room, Le 3 Mars 1962." Created as part of the White House redecoration project for the review and approval of Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was material that was associated with the White House, Executive Office of President or the Kennedy Administration. It was government property or officially donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
